No. LXXIX in the list of bindings of Thomas Mahieu given in "Maioli, Canevari and others". Tools used are the trefoil and double three-quarter circle tools found on several other Mahieu bindings. 16th century (c. 1560) limp brown morocco; covered with leaves outlined in black and lavishly gilt at Paris; curving lines and azured tools on the upper cover, the title of the book, on the lower the simple monogram "T.D.M." of Thomas Mahieu (Maioli); gilt and gauffered edges; in grey and black box.
