16th century dark brown calf; blind tooled triple fillet forming panels, with gold tooled fleurons at each corner and small centre stamp; blind tooled fillet decoration on spine, with two sections of hatching at head and tail, and small gold tooled fleurons; six raised bands; red morocco spine label with gold tooled letters; "Isocrates" written twice on tail edge.
Two quotations in Latin written in ms on front and rear flyleaves. Marginal annotations and underscoring throughout.
