Early 17th century Oxford dark brown calf; blind tooled triple fillet border and inner frame, with palmette fleurons at each corner; blind stamped centrepiece (Kerr centrepiece xxxii); holes from chain on front board; blind tooled double fillet on spine; red morocco spine label with gold tooled letters and triple fillet frame; Caesar written on fore-edge.
Medieval ms. used as binding scraps, not identified by Kerr.
