Contemporary Eton brown calf; blind tooled triple fillet border, with inner frame of a single roll, with compartments containing medallions; armorial centrepiece (arms of Eton College) stamped in silver; nailes for clasps and chain; blind tooled double fillet on spine, with panels of hatching at head and tail; 16th century ms. material used as guards; red painted edges; title written on fore-edge.
