London, 1650-1670.
48 leaves
Devised title.
Imprint location and dates assumed from Hollar's biography.
Most prints are accompanied by a number beginning with P: this is presumably R. Pennington's descriptive catalogue of Hollar's etched work, published 1982.
Includes etchings of seascapes, townscapes, and women's costumes, as well as title pages.
Binding bears the name 'G. du Faing', together wtih the motto 'sans changement'. This presumably is Gilles du Faing, c.1560-1633, seigneur du Faing. The style of binding supports this provenance, and suggests the volume was bound in the ealy 16th century, and the prints added by a later owner.
Ownership inscription on front flyleaf: A.M. Storer. Booklabel of Eton College Library Storer bequest, 1800.
