Barnard, rector of Alverstoke, it was purchased, together with 2 vols. of the Bible, given also by the King, by Revd. J. Wilder, Fellow of Eton, and presented by him to Eton College Library.
Mid 18th century black morocco royal presentation binding; gold tooled border of crowns and fleur-de-lys roll, and two small panels of same roll above and below a gold tooled stamp of George III's arms; gold tooled zigzag roll on board edges; gold tooled decoration on spine, with crowns and George III's monogram surmounted by crown; marbled endpapers.
