This volume differs from the original produced by Lauro (1612-1628) in lacking the text on the versos of the plates. The volume also lacks the printed leaves in the original volume and the unnumbered plate of Urban VIII. following the title-page.

Contemporary brown sprinkled calf; gold tooled double fillet border and frame, with inner frame of foliage decorative roll, and large vase fleurons at each corner; gold tooled twist roll along board edges; gold tooled decoration on spine; red morocco spine label with gold tooled letters and fleurons; five raised bands.
