Scope and content: (1) Original sound recording of an interview conducted by Mary Slater, journalist, with Ian Fleming at Goldeneye, his house in Jamaica, before lunch 23.1.63. Fleming speaks about the building and running of the house and the filming of "Dr. No" which took place on the island. (2) One typed letter (dated 1962-10-10) to Mary Slater signed from Ian Fleming setting up this interview. (3) Copies of four photographs of Ian Fleming at Goldeneye taken at the time of this interview. (4) With loose newspaper cuttings, annotated by John Carter about Ian Fleming's death in 1964.
