Legend below the image reads "Achitophel, an old Jew scribe lately turn'd Greek; Greeks; Persians (stowed together) worshipping the rising sun". The Persians represent those politicians (including Lord Temple) who supported the Prince Regent, whilst the Greeks include Fox and Sheridan.
Loose in modern portfolio: black buckram joints and corners, with brown paper covered boards.
Mounted on board with two captions. The lower edge of the engraving has been trimmed, losing the imprint.
