Contains eighty one plates, numbered on accompanying letterpress, including three plates chromolithograped by Owen Jones in vol. 1. The plates are lithographed by George Belton Moore, Thomas Talbot Bury and Robert Kent Thomas after Domenico Quaglio, J. Aliusetti and Edward Lear, and executed by Day & Haghe, lithographers to the Queen.
