Architectural publisher's device of Arnold Birckman with his name in the pediment on title-page; another issue has the architectural printer's device of Melchior von Neuss with his name at the top of the frame ("Melch." and "Nov." on either side of the tympanon) and a central arrow with a snake wrapped around it and the motto "Festina lente".
