Fl.3.04(07)
The death of King Charles I. proved a down-right murder, with the aggravations of it. In a sermon at St. Botolph Aldgate, London, January 30. 1692/3. To which are added, some just reflections upon some late papers, concerning that King's book. By Rich. Hollingworth, D.D.
London, : Printed by R. Norton for Walter Kettilby, at the Bishop's Head in St. Paul's Church-Yard, 1693.
[18], 24 p. ; 21 cm. (4to)
The "Epistle dedicatory" is about the controversy surrounding the authorship of 'Eikōn basilikē', which Hollingworth believed was by Charles I, but according to Madan in his 'New bibliography of the Eikon basilike', was in fact written by John Gauden, although it probably includes some authentic writings of the King.
