Two sermons the first preach'd before King Charles II. February 10. 1678. upon the providence of God in the government of the world. The second upon charity, proving without it there is no obtaining the love of God. By Zachary Cradock, D.D. Late Provost of Eaton. Publish’d by His Majesty’s Special Command. These Sermons are an excellent Preservative against the Growth of Deism and Immorality in the present Age; and are what no Family ought to be without, in order to implant in the Minds of Youth a just Idea of Almighty God, his Providence, &c. They are in such great Esteem among the Judicious (for elegant Stile and strong Reasoning) as when scarce to have been sold for Five Shillings each.
