Strada's work consists of twenty books divided into two decades or volumes; the second decade (1578-1590) appeared in 1647; the two decades were first issued together (Decades duae) in 1651; each decade was again published separately, 1653 and later; a third decade, written by the author, was not published, owing to obstacles interposed by the Spanish court. -- cf. Vander Haeghen, Bibl. belg. and Backer-Sommervogel, VII, columns 1608-1609.
