In 2 parts. Part 1 is an edition of Quintilian's "Institutio oratoria"; part 2 is not in fact by Quintilian and is composed of "Declamationes pseudo-Quintilianeae (Maiores)" and "Declamationes pseudo-Quintilianeae (Minores)". The 2 parts have separate pagination and register. In some copies the "Declamationes" can be bound first.
The title page is a cancel (horizontal chainlines).
Signatures: pi1 A-2Y⁸ (2Y8 blank) 3A-3C⁸ 3D⁶ (3D6 blank), ²A⁸(-²A1) ²B-2N⁸.
This edition has a flower-shaped title page ornament and "accesserunt" on title page. Another edition (ESTC, R16191) has a heart-shaped ornament and "accesserum" on title page.
Leaf ²A1 bears a title page, usually cancelled. Copy held at Christ Church, Oxford, retains part of this t.p.: "M. Fabii Qintiliani [sic] oratoris eloqu[...] decl[...] un[...] His accesserun[...] CCCLXXX[...] mationes, [...] Ex[...] Calpurni[...] minorum L[...] Dialogo de oratorib[...] nia hæc ex P. Pi[...] virorum bibliothecis [...] Typis e.G. [...] væne[...]".
