The author of 'A discourse concerning the celibacy of the clergy' is identified in ms. as H. Wharton in the Magdalen College Oxford copy.
"Considerations concerning the spirit of M. Luther, and the original of the Reformation" has a divisional title-page (leaf A2). "A discourse concerning the celibacy of the clergy" has separate title-page, pagination, and signatures. It was also published separately, and appears as Wing no. W3445 at Reel 855:3.
Quires B-G in two settings: 1) rule below page number in the headline on leaf B1 recto, and signature letter "B" is under the "rs" in "Lovers" 2) no rule below the page number in the headline on leaf B1 recto, and signature letter B is under the "f" of "of".
