?17th-century dark brown blind-panelled calf; border and inner frame of thin and thick fillets, the latter with external corner fleurons; gilt stamp in centre of a two-headed eagle, crowned (?armorial); spine decoration of blind fillets with small gilt cinquefoil; four raised bands; red morocco spine label; chain holes; traces of ties; ms. parchment guards.
