Spine flat, decorated with gilt fillets, tools and titling (now faded; "Hispaniæ respubli)". Textblock trimmed and dyed red. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated laid paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
