Autograph letter signed from P. B. Shelley to his bankers, 29 September 1819. The bill discussed in the letter, £200 on Messrs Webb of Leghorn, was for Henry Reveley, the designer of a steam engine for a boat -- from ms. title page.
Previously owned by William Alfred Foyle (1885-1963). Foyle's ex libris maroon and gilded leather bookplate on front pastedown: "Ex libris. W. A. Foyle. Beeleigh Abbey".
Letter in quarter red morocco over patterned paper covered boards volume ; with ms. title page in black, red and gilt.
