The ESTC record suggests that the frontispiece portrait is a plate, but it is in fact leaf *1 (cf. the signature mark *4 on the fourth leaf).

The un-numbered leaf R8 is an errata leaf: 'There is a mistake in numbering of these sermons. The tenth should be called the ninth, and so on to the end. For there are but fifteen sermons in this volume.'
