In the letter dated 14 August 1924, Kipling mistakenly types "Mrs Wakefield" instead of "Mrs Millington-Drake". Millington-Drake writes in pencil below: "Absent minded beggar!".

Summary: The letters consist of Kipling's response to Millington-Drake's request of a signed book to add to the Macnaghten Library collection and an extended conversation beyond that. The Danish opinion of Kipling's "White Cargo" and Kipling's daughter are also discussed.
