This copy is one of six printed for T. H. by J. &. W. Clark, Edinburgh, in November 1927; it was given to Stephen Tennant at Max Gate on Dec. 6th. 1927. [Sassoon's monogram]".

[?]Unpublished ms. poem by Siegfried Sassoon about Hardy on p.[4]. The first line reads: "When Hardy died, and Pens (who'd bored him) prattled,". Dated "28.1.28" and signed with Sassoon's monogram.
