Issued with at least some copies of the first four supplementary plates to Smith's Antiquities of Westminster; a note at the end records the loss of a great number of copies of the Antiquities of Westminster and over five thousand prints in a fire at the printer Bensley's warehouse. In order to recoup his losses, Smith increased the number of the supplementary plates, issuing them in parts between 1808 and 1809 with an etched title-plate reading Sixty-two additional plates to Smith's Antiquities of Westminster.

[Copy 1] Contemporary 19th-century full russia in the style of Kalthoeber; neoclassical gold-tooled palmette and anthemion border within thin-thick-thin gold fillets; quatrefoil corner ornaments; gold-tooled Greek key roll on turn-ins; marbled fore-edges; rebacked in 20th-century calf by R.L. Day, five gold-tooled false bands; gold-tooled palmette in compartments, direct-lettered in gold. Binder's stamp of R.L. Day.
[Copy 2] ?19th-century quarter-bound purple paper and dark green morocco over mill/pasteboards. Covers decorated with blind fillets and roll on leather corners and border. Spine with ten raised bands, decorated blind tools, gilt dotted roll, armorial, and titling ("Continuat. to Smith's Westminster"). Textblock untrimmed. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
