[Liturgies. Special forms of prayer (General, 1712-01-16)]
A form of prayer, to be used in all churches and chapels throughout England, and Wales, and the town of Berwick upon Tweed: on Wednesday the sixteenth day of January next, being the day appointed by Her Majesty for a general fast and humiliation, to be observed in a most solemn and devout manner: for obtaining the pardon of our sins, and averting those heavy judgments which they have most justly deserv'd; and imploring Gods blessing on all consultations for the publick good and his assistance on the arms and forces of Her Majesty, and her allies, engaged in the present war: and for restoring and perpetuating peace, safety and prospperity to her and her kingdoms, and the nations and states in alliance with her. By Her Majesties special command.
