An earnest appeal to the publick; o On Occasion of Mr. Whitefield's Extraordinary Answer to the pastoral letter of the Lord Bishop of London. Intended To Vindicate his Lordship from the Extravagant Charges and Mean Evasions contained in the said Pretended Answer; and to detect the True Spirit and Design of its Author, from his Notorious Inconsistence with himself, his Disregard of the Church by whose Authority he preaches, and his Treatment of those whom that Church hath constituted his Superiors. Address'd to The Rev. Mr. John Wesley. (mr. Whitefield being absent.).
