'The Mosleian No. 1 (November 25th, 1882) was issued in mss. hectographed in the handwriting of V.G. Middleton and edited by A.W.M. Bosville. No. 2 was printed, and No. 3 appeared under the name of "Vanitas" (in consequence of Mr. Mozley's objection to the original title) after which the publication ceased. It was only intended to be a house-paper at Mr. Mozley's. "The Rambler" was started at Mr. Mozley's in the following year (1883) but only one number appeared, owing to the break up of the School from scarlet fever'. -- from typed note in the volume.
