Fm.4.14(06)
A vindication of the Corporation and Test Acts. In answer to the Bishop of Bangor's reasons for the repeal of them. To which is added: a second part, concerning the religion of oaths. By Tho. Sherlock, D.D. Dean of Chichester, and Master of the Temple..
London: : Printed for J. Pemberton at the Buck and Sun, over against St. Dunstan's Church in Fleetstreet,, 1718..
[12], 120 p. ; 20 cm. (8vo)
A variant has typo in imprint: "St. Dunst'ans". There might be a correlation between the presence of this typo and the lack of the Postscript. Variant not listed in ESTC (checked 28 May 2007)
Head- and tail-pieces, initials.
At foot of t.p.: "(Price One Shilling and Six Pence.)".
Pages 117-20 contain a Postscript. Copies may lack it, making pag. 116 p. The postscript (p. 117-20) was printed (in 2000 copies) with the 2nd edition (of 1000 copies); the postscript was therefore presumably intended to be added to remaining copies of the earlier edition (of 2250 copies).
