Leaf 3 is dated: 'Papiæ quintodecimo Kal. April. M.D.XXXIX.'
The section on Armenian covers leaves 142-186, where there are several texts from the Gospels of St Matthew and St Luke. The Armenian texts are printed from woodblocks. The type design of the Armenain is round hand (Բոլորգիր) with no capitals.
Chronologically the second book with Armenian script after Guilielmus Postell, Linguarum duodecim characteribus differentium alphabetum, Paris, 1538.
The woodcuts on leaves 178v-179r entitled 'Phagoti Pars Anterior et pars Posterior' represent the front and back scroll holders. The one on leaf 179 has the inscription 'Nihil difficile Volen'.
