Issues no. 6, 10, 13-14, 16 and 18-20 are wanting, possibly excised.

Mounted on guards at front of volume: ALS from 'Bal' (Lord Balcarres) to 'Loulou' (i.e. Lewis Vernon Harcourt?) dated Haigh Hall, Wigan, 3 Feb. 1895 sending 'as many of our STSACK lampoons as I can find' ; ALS from John S. Arkwright to Harcourt dated Leominster, 6 Sep. 1897, sending issue numbers corresponding to those in the volume and the ms. copy of no. 8.
