The engravings by Christophe Van Sichem were used in the Holy Ejmiatsin and Saint Sargis ‘called the General’ printing house.
The publication was begun in 1698 and completed in ‘1700 and in the Armenian era 1149[1700]’ (from colophon, pp. 536-537). The ‘Acts of the Apostles’, 'Epistles of St Paul’ ,'Catholic Letters’ and ‘Revelation of St John’ are a new section with a separate pagination sequence but without title page. The two sections were also in circulation as separate books, and on this evidence G. Zarbhanalian and T’eodik have considered these two parts as separate publications.
The New Testament is the 2nd printing of the same first printed by Oskan Erewants’i in 1666-68.
