According to the colophon the work was translated into Armenian by Ter Grigor Tsortsoretsi, an Armenian priest belonging to the Order of the Preachers. It is the first volume of a two-volume work on the Union of the Armenian apostolic church with the Church of Rome.
This edition differs from other recorded editions (Kevorkian,186-187; Nersessian 56-57), in that it contains only the Armenian text. The British Library copy of the present edition wants pp. 361-432.
