Text set in two ruled columns in 10 pt bolorgir; initial letters formed of birds and fish; Synoptic numbers below the page in medium erkat'agir (capitals); the numbers in the inner and outer margins indicate periscopes.
Printed according to the style of Armenian Gospel manuscripts.
The place of publication and date are taken from the colophon. The date for completion as given in the Colophon (p.459-60) is 'in the year of the Lord 1731 [ՌՉԼԱ] and in the Armenian Era 1729 [ՌՃՀԸ]. The Armenian dating is correct for it corresponds with the Catholicate of Karapet II Ulnets’i, mentioned on the title page, who reigned 1726-1729.
Decoration: Rectangular headpiece marking the Eusebian canon tables [pp. xiv-xv]. Engraved portraits of the Four Evangelists [pp. 18, 148, 228, 364]; Four title pages consisting of quarter page headpieces with marginal arabesques containing in their centre the symbol of each evangelist [19, 149, 227, 365]. The first line of each Gospel formed by human figures. Other ornaments derived from manuscript styles throughout the text.

Dark brown calf over wood boards; blind tooled concentric frames of floral roll; blind tooled double fillet diagonal cross in centre of frames, and in a zigzag panel to the spine side of the frames; large lozenge shaped fleurons forming centrepiece; four raised bands; end bands.
