A revised edition of the Armeno-Turkish New Testament first published in 1819.
Note
"The revision was undertaken by H. D. Leeves ... Meanwhile William Goodell, a missionary of the American Board of Foreign Mission, had undertaken the task of providing a Turkish translation of the complete Bible in the vernacular. The first draft was made by an Armenian bishop, Dionysius. In 1828 the turmoil in Beirut compelled W. Goodell to move to Malta, where he finished the version of the New Testament ... This version, which came to be known as 'Goodell's version', was published at the expense of the British and Foreign Bible Society. 2,500 copies were printed in double columns, but not in paragraphs." (Cf. Nersessian, Catalogue of early Armenian books 1512-1850, p. 118.)
