19th century black straight-grained goatskin; border of thin gold fillet within broad gold fillet; smooth tight spine with three compartments formed by thin, thick, and broken gold fillets with gold-tooled spine title; gilt text block edges; pink moiré paper doublures; white silk page markers.
Plates misbound: those for vol. 1 in vol. 2, and vice versa.
