Additional engraved title plate with title "Աստուծաշունչ" [i.e. The Breath of God, the name Armenians give to the Bible) set in large uncial type in red and black, printed within engraved architectural border, enclosed within larger border of the figures of the Evangelists, the Apostles and the 24 Prophets with their names in Armenian, and depiction of the Holy Trinity at the head. Cf. also title plate of "Khorhrdatetr Srboy Pataragin", printed by Bortoli in 1741 (Iaa6.2.09).

18th century marbled goatskin over wooden boards; gold-tooled border and inner frame "à la cathédrale" with centre ornament of the Crucifxion on the upper board and the Virgin and Child on the lower board over a design of concentric and diagonal blind fillets; gold-tooled spine with fleur-de-lys within comparments formed by five raised bands and rolls and tan leather spine label; gilt text block edges.
