Milton's Paradise lost, translated into Classical Armenian metrical verse by Father Arsen Komitas Bagratuni of the Mkhit’arist Order.
The plates are a portrait of Milton with the imprint of Furne, Paris; a steel-engraved added title plate; and a steel-engraved frontispiece plate of the expulsion from the garden of Eden.
The final leaf is blank.
Dedication to Queen Victoria in English and Armenian.
The work was previously translated by Yarut'iwn Awgerean in Venice in 1824.
