The original (provisionally dated ca. 1300) was presented to the library of Trinity College, Dublin University, by Dr. Francis Sadleir. 36 of the 40 unnumbered leaves are decorated with miniatures by an unknown artist of the East Anglian school. The last 3 leaves contain directions for church services and part of the Meditations of Saint Bernard (chapters I-II and part of III).
20th century dark red leather quarter-binding, with boards covered with cloth; title stamped in gold on spine; gilt top-edge.
