Binding
19th century red leather binding with gilt spine title "պարտեզ" [= garden]; boards later covered with black velvet; upper cover with oval metal centrepiece of the Cross and two spears draped in a cloth; lower cover with oval metal centrepiece of the Virgin Mary with a serpent beneath her feet; gilt text block edges. Housed in 19th century gold-tooled leather slipcase made for a slightly larger book.
