Accompanied by typed letter from Lt Col. R. de B. Devereux (her son), to the librarian, Eton College, dated Farnbrough, 15 Nov. 1970 identifying his mother as the daughter of Cory's pupil W. H. Johnston and offering the book to the library, with a copy of Patrick Strong's reply dated the following day.
