Title

The statutes at large, : from the second year of the reign of King George the third to the end of the last session of Parliament. To which is prefixed, a table of the titles of all the publick and private statutes during that time. With a copious index. And an appendix, consisting of obsolete and curious acts, some of which were never before printed. Volume the ninth.

The edition statements in vols.15-18 of Ruffhead's edition describe them also as vols.11-14 of the edition of 'Statutes at large' edited by Runnington.

This vol. contains an index to all 9 vols. and an appendix and concludes: "The end of the ninth and last volume".

With a list of subscribers and a list of road acts etc. whose titles were omitted in the table of contents to the eighth volume.

Intended to accompany an earlier eight volume work entitled 'The statutes at large from Magna Charta to the end of the last parliament 1761', by Ruffhead, London 1763-1764. An 'Advertisement' in vol. 8 announces that "at the request of many of the subscribers" the series would be brought up to date and completed by a ninth volume.
