Late 16th century Oxford dark brown calf; blind tooled triple fillet frames, with large fleurons (Ker ornament 51) at each corner; oval centrepiece (Ker no. ix); traces of ties and chains; blind tooled double fillet on spine, with panels of single fillet hatching at head and tail; hatching on board edges at head and tail; yellow stained edges; manuscript on endpapers; four raised bands.
