Late 17th or early 18th century dark brown calf; blind tooled double fillet border with second vertical line at spine edge; gold tooled sprig roll on board edges; rebacked in late 20th or early 21st century in dark brown calf with gold tooled double fillet and title, and blind tooled fleurons in compartments; four raised bands; new cream endpapers with earlier bookplates reattached; signed R.L. Day on rear pastedown; brown and red sprinkled edges.
