Late 16th or early 17th century sprinkled calf, with central panel left bare; blind tooled double fillet frames with tulip fleurons at each corner; gold tooled zigzag roll on board edges; blind tooled double fillet on spine; red morocco spine label with gold tooled title and double fillet; four raised bands; red sprinkled edges.
Copy bound in a different order from the ESTC copy: 'De methodo plantarum viri clarissimi D. Augusti Quirini Rivini' bound between leaves A4 and a1 of first register sequence.
