1 volume ([6], 38 leaves) : paper ; 15 x 11 cm.
A poem in Greek hexameters on Wyatt's Rebellion of 1554, dedicated to Mary I. With a Latin preface.
Title taken from title written in ink on fol. [6]r.
Greek title given as running header on each page of main text.
Leaves are sometimes numbered in pencil, with a continous sequence. Fol. 38 has been misnumbered 37.
Two blank leaves between preface and main text.
Preface written in italic hand.
Place and date of production are inferred from the preface, which is signed: Oxonij quarto Nonas Aprilis. Wyatt's Rebellion began in January 1554, and culminated in his execution on 11th April 1554.
Previous shelfmarks: Bl.6.3, Bl.7.8, Bo.7.9.
Engraved armorial bookplates of Eton College Library on front flyleaf and on verso of fol. [5]. This manuscript does not appear in Bernard's Catalogi librorum manuscriptorum of 1697, suggesting it entered the Library after that date.
