Copy annotated by Craig, including note on front flyleaf noting the addition of prints of new woodcuts made since 1924 and prints of forgotten plates found since 1924, some rare due to the blocks being lost.
ECL copy is number 117; "GC" device pasted in at foot of statement of limitation.
Two loosely inserted leaves of autograph notes by Craig regarding the bookplates and permissions to reproduce them, one dated 5 May 1924 and stamped "Copirt", the other "send C&W May 4. Sent Chris St J May 4". Loosely inserted ALS from "Chris" dated Small Hythe "somewhere about Pentecost 1924", presumably "Christopher St John" i.e. Craig's sister Edy's companion Christabel Marshall.
Loosely inserted woodcut "by John Craig" dated 1975 and circular bookplated engraved by John Craig for Edward Craig dated 1976 pasted in at p. 3.
Armstrong College donation bookplate designed by Edward Carrick [Teddy Craig] laid down on half-title.
