A supplement to Walpole's Historic doubts on the life and reign of King Richard the Third, first published in 1768.
Published in 1861 in an edition by E.C. Hawtrey in vol. VI of the Miscellanies of the Philobiblon Society.
Dated May 10th 1769 on fol. 25r. Immediately followed by a postscript dated August 6th 1769.
Written only on the recto of each leaf, with occasional insertions on the verso.
Inscription on leaf immediately preceding main text: This unpublished MS by an old Etonian is presented to the Library of Eton College by E.C.H. Provost. 1853.
M.R. James records in the interleaved catalogue that E.C. Hawtrey bought it from 'White of Pall Mall', who in turn bought it from Miss Berry.
