1 volume (477 leaves) : paper ; 36 x 24 cm.

Note

Title taken from title-page.

Note

Variant title in M.R. James: Histoire de Ph. de Waurin.

Note

A history of England covering part of the period of the Hundred Years War. Represents books III to VI of a larger work.

Note

Author's name and honorifics taken from the title-page. It seems possibly that Philippe de Waurin has been confused with Jean de Waurin (1399/1400-1473/4), who compiled a history of the same period of England's history. M.R. James refers to a published edition of 'Waurin's history' in the Rolls Series, but this refers to Jean de Warin.

Note

464 of the leaves are numbered in ink. 11 more leaves follow, one bearing the final portion of the text on the recto.

Note

Written in a professional hand.
