The copyist, Francis Muriel, was admitted to Corpus in 1708, graduated BA in 1712/12, and MA 1716. N.B. that M.R. James refers to him as a Fellow of Corpus in error.

Inscription on fol. [7]v: Dedit Collegio Etonensi Thomas Richardson S.T.P. eiusdem Coll[eg]i Socius 1722. This inscription appears to have been missed by M.R. James, who suggests that the copy was made for the early 18th century conduct at Eton, Mr. Huggett.
