Note
A printed copy relating to the negotiations (Les negotiations de Monsieur le President Ieannin. -- Paris : Chez Pierre le Petit, 1656) is at Af.3.07. It also belonged to Mann, and is, presumably, the 'recueil imprimé' which lacks the letters copied here. Af.3.07 also bears an armorial binding of Gaspard Fieubert de Narlac, Sieur de Ligny (1627-94), associating it with MS 186.
