The first document is written in an English seventeenth century hand, is ruled in black chalk, and contains drawings in red and black chalk.
The first document is paginated in ink in two sequences: 42, [6], 60, [8] p.
An index included in the first document, beginning the second sequence of paginated pages.
The second document is unpaginated and written in a seventeenth century hand, possibly Italian?
The second document has catchwords, and appears to be a fragment.
Seventeenth or eighteenth century inscription on second front flyleaf: E Libris Georgij Fowler Tilsley.
Inscription on front pastedown, recording donation to Eton College by Francis Warre-Cornish whilst Vice Provost of Eton. He in turn was given it by M. Eyre Matcham in 1904.

17th century English dark brown sprinkled calf; gold tooled double fillet frame, with small pomegranite fleurons at each corner; gold tooled zig zag roll on board edges; gold tooled double fillet on spine; five raised bands; red and brown sprinkled edges.
